The musical siren for car alarms is designed to replace the standard sounds of car alarms when they give warning signals.. The device looks like a speaker, similar to that used in most car alarms, and is installed instead or in addition to the latter. The device analyzes incoming signals to the standard alarm siren and, in accordance with this, plays a particular sound file from the internal memory. Analysis is performed based on the number of short signals (“chirps” ), they correspond to the names of sound files. In this way, if one chirp “arrived” (usually arming ) a file named 001.mp3 will be played, 2 chirp (disarming ) – file 002.mp3, etc.. If the first chirp is long – file 008.mp3 will start. With an indefinite sequence of short and long siren signals, the file 009.mp3 will be played, when the alarm mode is triggered – 010.mp3. Already recorded in the device 3 set of sounds for alarm analysis, the corresponding sound files are located in the root directory in folders “01”, "02" and "03". Selecting a working set, you can change the buttons (cm. Below is a description of the button channel).
In addition to the main function, siren has more 2 additional channels: “Reverse” channel and “Button” channel. Additional channel “Reverse” can be used to provide sound as an additional horn, reverse signal, etc.. When +12V is applied to its input, the sound file 001.mp3 will be played, located in directory “11”. The additional channel “Button” is activated by applying +12V pulses. Number of pulses ( button presses) matches the sound file name, which will be launched for playback from the folder “21” (21/001.mp3-21/005.mp3). If you hold down the button for a long time, the file will play as long as the button is held down, ie. in this mode you can interrupt playback at any time. With short presses the file will be played in full. Possible playback up to 5 files, which should be in the “21” directory. Pressing the button more 5 times allows you to select a working set of sounds for the main channel:

- - 7 button presses selects work set No. 2 ( tracks from folder “02”)
- - 8 button presses selects work set No. 3 ( tracks from folder “03”)
- - 9 pressing the button selects the mode of cyclic selection of sets No. 1, 2, 3.
When connecting the device to a computer's USB port, an additional disk will appear in the system, sound files are written to the device’s memory by simply copying it to a flash drive. All files must be located in the corresponding catalogs “01”, “02”, “03”,“11”,“21” and have names as above:001.mp3, 002.mp3,… 010.mp3.
